Adi Man
41 years old, married to Federico and mother to Idan (12), Omri (11) and Tomer (7).
I have been a resident of Modi'in for 32 years. I grew up in Reut from the 4th grade and moved to the Shimshoni neighborhood (Ha'Neviim) after we got married.
Former member of the city council. I was the chairperson of the Committee for Gender Equality at the Modiin City Hall.
Chairperson of the kindergarten parents' committee of Modi'in and the national one, Social activist and advocate for education and health.
I manage crowdfunding campaigns for families Coping with children with cancer.
I led the (local and national) protest for proper maintenance of sand boxes in kindergartens.
Amatzia Deutsch
57 years old, married and a father of 4 daughters, from sixth grade to the army.
I live in the Maginim neighborhood for about 24 years.
After 20 years of army service as an officer, I work as a tour guide abroad and with Holocaust educational trips to Poland and in the digital media field.
As a social activist I was the chairman of the Modi'in parents' committee and a founder of the national parents' committee and a member of its board, chairman of committees at "Avnei HaChoshen" and the Amit Girls high school, and established a committee for the first time at "Branco Weiss" high school.
Together with Adi, we merged, for the first time the kindergarten parents in the Modi'in parents' committee . I led the legislation of the afternoon schools and summer camps laws that include, for the first time, funding by the government, lowering the cost for parents nationwide. At the Amit high school, I led the campaign for change in the municipality's policy that now allows every student to choose a school according to her choice and not just according to her address.
Neta Setter
39 years old, married to Oded and mother to Alma (10), Atai (8) and Inbar (4).
I have been a resident of the city for 20 years, eight of them in the Kramim neighborhood and for the last five years a resident of Maccabim.
I chose to develop my career in the worlds of Social activism. I started my career at the Clinical Legal Education Center at the Hebrew University, and for the past decade I have been privileged to engage in social action as part of my work as a marketing director at the Essence of Life organization, which belongs to the Ted Arison Philanthropic Foundation (Part of Arison Group).
I founded the project "Pay it Forword" to collect donations from second hand clothing sales to fill my heart, and I am not ready to give up on my part in our School parent leadership, even in the busiest times.
Graduated with a master's degree in Gender and Diversity from the Hebrew University.
Dan Goldenberg
44 years old, in a relationship with Elron and father Itai (13) and Ofir (10).
I am a resident of Modi'in for 12 years, living in the Shimshoni neighborhood (HaNeviim) since the day we arrived in Modi'in .
During the last decade I have been involved in informal education in the city, and now I returned to my old love for the world of tourism in general and Thailand in particular and serve as a tourist consultant.
From the day my eldest son began his journey in the city's education system, I joined the school parents' committee and for the past four years I served as its chairman at the 'Assif' school.
Dr. Dafna Hornike
45 years old, lives in Modi'in for nine years. I am married and mother of two, live in Shimshoni neighborhood .
I am a Dr. in Literature and Gender studies, an educator engaged in educating outstanding youth in formal and informal settings, a lecturer at the Levinsky College of Education in the teacher training track and a researcher at the Hebrew University.
Active in the issue of gender in the education system in Modi'in, member of the Committee for Gender Equality and active in the gay community. In addition, I act for the rights of children in special education, integration into the education system and representation of parents of special children in the city environment.
Through my activity on education, gender and special education children, I strive to improve the quality of life of the city's children and their families.
Uri Tsemah
67 years old, Lt. Col.(res.), father of Harel (37), Matan (35) and Ohad (32).
I am a resident of Modi'in for 32 years, of which 15 years in Reut and for the last 17 years, I live in the Nechalim neighborhood.
I have a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in business administration.
I am a teacher and educator at Mor High School for 25 years.
Author of Bagrut books in history and civics.
I a guide for youth and adults on trips to Poland for over 20 years.
Throughout the years I was involved in education I felt a noble mission and a great privilege. I see guiding the delegations in Poland as an important mission designed to shape the memory of the Holocaust among our youth and adults.
Yocheved Tal
72 years old, retired.
I am married to Ofer, mother of 3 daughters, grandmother of 8 grandchildren.
I left the kibbutz at the age of 45 and arrived in Modi'in 26 years ago and live in the Prachim neighborhood.
In the past, i was an administrative manager in various fields, and currently volunteer at "Shutafim LaMasa" (Journey Partners).
I see my mission as promoting the rights of senior citizens and education.
